An idyllic childhood spent exploring the beautiful waterways and natural environment around the coastal Sydney suburb of Cronulla I developed an affinity with nature.

My art explores the beauty and emotional connection we share with the world around us. Equally interested in the beauty of detail seen in birds feathers and blue bottles patterns to the larger picture of panoramic landscape and place within it - the micro and macro of existence.

This is explored through the delicate capacity of watercolour to capture overlaying textured layers and depicting the depth of the detailed beauty around us (explorers journal) to monochrome graphite and etching work that may express a more emotional and spiritual connection to landscape and suggests a love of line work perhaps from her architectural background.

Having won awards such as the Broken Hill Regional Gallery Pro Hart Spirit of the Outback Prize, TIGS/Westpac Acquistion prize, TAFE Acquisition prize to being selected as a finalist in the Hazlehurst works on paper prize, the Australasian Wildlife Awards, and Botanica. Her work has been commissioned and sold both locally and overseas.
